There was a great interest in the ENEXT Technology as a promising Solid Waste Management solution. Minister Joke Schauvliege from the Environment, Nature and Energy Department of the Flemish Government and Secretary General J.P. Heirman came to visit the ENEXT booth together with a large group of VIP persons during the opening session of  IFEST on Tuesday 14 February 2012. A lot of attention was given to the ENEXT Technology in the media by the TV station KanaalZ and others and the written press. An interview with ENEXT&#8217;s CEO, T.Goossens,  was broadcasted on the business TV Channel KanaalZ on 14 February 2012. 		<description><![CDATA[On Tuesday 10 January, ENEXT introduced its green coal technology during a presentation in Shagri La Hotel in Manila. The ENEXT green coal technology, a renewable alternative to fossil coal, provides a solution to the solid waste management problem in the Philippines. During the presentation were present from the Embassy of the Kingdom of Belgium:  His Excellency Christian Meerschman, Belgian Ambassador in the Phlippines, Mr.Jozef Naudts, First Secretary.  The Philippine Energy Undersecretary Jose Layug, from the Department of Energy of the Republic of the Philippines and Emelita Aguinaldo, the Executive Director of the National Solid Waste Management Commission-Secretariat, expressed the importance of renewable energy projects for the Philippines. The audience consisted of more than 70 attendees, coming from several Departments (DTI, DOST, DOE, DENR), the Board of Investors (BOI), Local Governmental Units (LGU’s), National Solid Waste Management Commission, landfill owners, waste haulers, financers and more.
